How about some pictures of a French cemetary? Would that float your boat? Yes? No? To be honest I really don't care. Look, or don't look. If you don't you're missing out. French cemetaries are cool. My co-locateur Rocio and I seem to share a morbid fascination with cemetaries. Well, you have to admit they can be so beautiful. It's where people rest their loved ones when they leave the world, and the french do it in a such a memorious way. Rocio and I had an expedition to the Ales cemetary, separated, and couldn't find each other again. It was that big. Then, when I went to leave I found that the gates were locked and there was no way for me to exit. They really should put in a door that opens from the inside only. So, you are locked in a cemetary, and the light is quickly fading from the sky. What do you do? Search an easy way out, obviously. I hopped up on the cement base of the fence to the side of the entryway and climbed over it, then jumped down. Easy enough. I wonder if I could get in the same way? But there would problem be a bunch of heathen teenagers in there wreacking havoc if it were that easy. And I'm not so into cemetaries that I feel the need to climb a fence to get in. Especially if I can't take pictures from lack of light. Posted by Picasa

Random photo, taken in Montpellier. I'm just gonna do some random photos now because I really don't feel like writing a cohesive story. I actually would like to go to sleep and am hoping this will keep me awake for a while as I need to be awake for another 4 hours. Damn 9 hour time difference! Posted by Picasa

Technical issues resolved. Because I'm a freaking genius. Yeah. Um, actually it was fairly easy to resolve. I just had to log directly into blogspot, instead of posting through Picasa, and republish my blog. Oh yeah, speaking of publishing, in case you missed it at the very bottom of every page, all photos are copyright ME.
*test test* I just posted three photos and none are showing up. *ANNOYED*. what the hell!! Argh, alsdkfn;oaishnejngjanbsd;lkfn vousdhfkjasdnr4rlhflmgnasd6u73!
"Sultans du Swing" is the name of the joint. Scroll down to the picture of the beer for an explanation. Posted by Picasa

Okay, I know I said before the last section of pictures (um, by the way, scroll down to the bottom of that section, then back up, if you want a timely order of things), that I had some pictures of Nimes, but I just don't have the time now to post all of those. You know how time is...elasping, escaping, disappearing...so I will wait to post those photos until I have a bit more of that elusive phenomenon. In the mean time, I went to a rare rare rare live show in Ales (I miss you Portland, and your wealth of live music), the music was incredibly fun, bluegrass/country, and I had yet another moment of relativity that has been happening so frequently since I've been here (that phrase, after the comma after country, is for Michael. Red clay wings, darling.) Anyway, the next two or three photos were taken at the show. Maison Dixon. Posted by Picasa
